Ben Foster saved penalty from helped put Birmingham City on their way to a 2-1 home victory over Blackburn Rovers.
Blues keeper Foster denied Pedersen from the penalty with an impressive save on 50 minutes. The penalty was judged after Nikola Zigic had fouled Chris Samba in the box.
But Blackburn finally took the lead as Steven N'Zonzi diverted home a near-post header from a Pedersen corner on 54 minutes.
Birmingham were not behind for long and equalised on 57 minutes when a long ball James McFadden was found found in the area by Stephen Carr and his pass to Craig Gardner was turned into goal.
The turnaround was complete on 71 minutes when former Aston Villa midfielder Gardner surged clear cracked home the winner from 30 yards.
