Football Highlights: Everton vs Wolverhampton

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake scored a late goal to equilize and bring to Wolverhampton Wanderers a hard-fought 1 point against Everton at Goodison Park
.
Two minutes before half-time The Toffees made the breakthrough when Mikel Arteta's free-kick low set-piece struck the Wolves wall and rebounded for Tim Cahill to slam left-footed into the roof of the net.

The gold substitution for Wolves was Adlène Guedioura who initiated a counter attack in the last quarter of the game, which finished with Kevin Doyle teeing up Ebanks-Blake to level the score from close range.

Everton manager David Moyes:
"I thought we played very well in the first half and arguably should have gone in more than one goal up.
"Wolves put us under a lot more pressure and made it harder for us in the second half.

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy:
"We were abject first half and held on 43 minutes. I take responsibility for that because I tinkered with the team to stop Everton playing.
"Second half I addressed that. I said to them, show me I don't need to make substitutions.
